By booking a consultation you agree to the following. Full text is below for your records.

By booking a consultation you agree to:

  • Inform your trainer of any changes to scheduled consultations as soon as possible (at least 24 hours).
  • Book and pay for your consultation in line with the instructions given at booking.
  • Ensure that there is adequate water for your dog and a supply of treats on hand at your location.
  • Bag any dog fouling and place it in an appropriate bin.
  • Ensure your dogs receive annual vaccinations or titre tests to help prevent the spread of disease.
  • Take full responsibility for the actions and outcome of your dog’s behaviour.
  • Keep your dog under control at all times.
  • Make sure your dog does not approach other people or dogs without permission.
  • Keep your dog on its lead at all times unless given permission to be off lead by an instructor.
  • Keep an in-season bitch away from any classes for a full three weeks and inform your trainer.
  • Keep any dog that is ill with an infectious disease or has been in contact with a dog with such a disease isolated from other dogs until given the all clear by a vet, and inform your trainer.
  • Take responsibility for the actions and behaviour of any children and ensure they act responsibly around the dogs.
  • Ensure your dog is appropriately and legally “dressed” in a flat collar and lead with a name tag meeting legal requirements. See Kennel Club — dog identification tags.
  • Comply with the law on microchipping for dogs in England and Wales.

All dogs and handlers take part at their own risk. Handlers are responsible for keeping their dog(s) under control at all times.
